    Hi, TC doesnt put power on any wheel, in a nutshell: it's supposed to apply brake on the spinning wheel to engage the axle's diff and equalise the wheel speeds, largely explained in the WSM(attached)... it used to misbehave if the brake pads are unevenly worn, the wheels are more than 5% bigger...

    means that your fuel delivery system is well sealed, i've seen many cases when Td5's are running rough with dead pump on residual pressure untill the pressure is released somewhere

    That's specific for automatic ECUs as the manual doesnt have a CAN circuit... tell me what part number is on the ECU cos i have the feeling that the PO fitted a botched up automatic ECU then this can be the problem....btw what diagnostic tool you have?

    there is no speed limit regulated but better not drive it much in low cos you'll ruin the box hence the recommendation in the owner's manual... low has it's clear purpose, it was not conceived for long road driving, the TB, gearbox and engine can all overheat on a long run

    The injectors are working with a quite high voltage PWM signal(between 110 - 163V) which is very sensitive to contact issues so cable tying a worn connector might not be good enough cos the cavities can be loose while they must be very tight to the pins. I don't know exactly what kind of plugs...

    It's only one fuel pump relay which can trigger that fault code: R103(C0730), p/n YWB000150..., R100 is the so called "main relay" not for fuel pump, if this fails the engine doest start at all, as you didnt say what year is your's i can just guess it's pre-2002

    No better diagram than that, the "extra pulley" at the top is the idler instead of the aircon compressor, this one https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/idler-less-britpart-err6493-p-27710.html, the other (nr.7) is instead of the ACE pump(ERR6949)... both are compulsory to fit the PQS101490 belt

    you have to replace the injector loom ASAP http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Injector_harness.html, if you have a compatible scanner(not generic obd2) see live injector roughness, manifold pressure and inlet air temp readings

    Is it automatic? Check the ECU red plug for oil. Unplug the MAF and see how it runs that way... the EGR is still in place?
