    Disco 3 (LR3) Mystery plugs discovery 3

Yep sure was, see the D3forum where there is some info on them. Edit just looked and I cannot find said info! Iirc different load rated wheels to take into account the extra weight, RRS suspension parts as heavier duty, not sure on what else was different.

Yep all D3 Metropolis rear ac as std, I have one, every one I have ever seen for sale has the rear a/c, it was one of my main reasons to buy it for the dog, and if anyone asks, I always tell people it is a HSE with all the bling. I think I have the brochure somewhere, will try and find it. Not...

Rebuild dual line brake master cylinder

As said they do not auto adjust, so you need to adjust them. If any wheel takes more to adjust then that wheel brake might have an issue.

    The value of parts

It will all be in the part number, most LR owners are saddos and will research the part they need, and when they find the part number that is what they will search for, well that is what i do! Do not forget even the most useless looking part is wanted by someone somewhere. If you do the...

    Glowplugs

200 and 300 will start without plugs, but both start easier when cold with functioning plugs. I had one 300 that needed twin batteries to get the cranking speed up.

Ingenium Low Compression | Engine Restore

Chuck it into an auction and get rid whilst it is still running. The snake oil additive might work long enough to get rid of it. Do they cull badgers where you come from?

Remove the ac pump, not the pipework, just unbolt the pump and move it out of the way. Ignore badger above.

Discovery 5 DTC on camshaft sensor - timing chain replacement?

I reckon any small high-speed common rail diesel needs its injectors changing at about 100,000 miles. as you are going all in I would expect new injectors and a new turbo, mainly for peace of mind. whoever has the best guarantee would get my vote.

Finding air leaks into a diesel fuel system can be a right bar steward. Have you removed the tank sender and checked the fuel gauzes?

Tillys smokey TD5, can we fix it ?

Just so you are aware 1 bar is approx 15psi, so for example cyl1 2.4 bar would be about 40psi, and not 350psi you quote? How and what were you using to measure the compression with? 10 or 15p engine? My simple mind says if all else runs/works okay then it is head off time.

    200TDI cyclone breather dissected

Oil inside the breather hoses sounds perfectly normal to me, that is after all their function as every engine naturally breathes, to return any oil droplets from the oil mist to the sump Dark smoke every time you accelerate?
