    Disco 1 200tdi with a Euro 4 catalytic converter

Could be, maybe I have them mixed up? been years since I owned a td5, 2001 td5 es premium, really liked that car, one of the few that I actually think about now and then.

I have replaced them with std plain downpipes, and have to say I did not notice any difference, but I was young and full of ideas! As I have gotten older I have realised you simply cannot beat standard spec for reliability.

    Disco 1 200tdi with a Euro 4 catalytic converter

My M reg 300 had a DOC cat, my R reg 300 had a DOC cat, they were std fit, so if yours has not got one someone has replaced the downpipe, which is a cheap job. Early 10p td5 also had a DOC cat, not sure on later 15p models. I think even modern euro 6 still have DOC cats fitted as part of their...

    Disco 1 200tdi with a Euro 4 catalytic converter

Iirc export 200tdi had egr as an option, and also maybe a DOC cat. 300tdi had DOC cat from late L reg early M reg onwards, so maybe you could bastardise a 300 DOC downpipe as a relatively cheap test.

Half shaft oil seal removal ?

try a bit of googling, as I am sure people have done it before to make their wheel bearings last longer on the pre-TD5 models.

    110 300Tdi fuel tank outlet

Ah sorry I forgot you had a 110, in my mind it was a 90!

    TD5 clutch fitting price

Does that include a new DMF? Valeo dmf and clutch kit 750 quid ebay, slave and master will be less than a ton, trade prices most likely less. I would hazard a guess less than a days work for a tech who knows what they are doing.

    110 300Tdi fuel tank outlet

Yes that is a stand pipe, few vids on youtube how to drill and fit them. I prefer them as that way the heater fuel system in no way effects the cars fuel system.

    Disco 1 200tdi with a Euro 4 catalytic converter

Tbh pretty much all 200tdi chuff out some black smoke from cold starting, even without the boost rings etc.

Oh no! Not that old fog light question again.

Sadly when doing electrical checks you cannot always believe what a multimeter tells you.

Oh no! Not that old fog light question again.

Yep in the wheel arch, mine are hard plastic, arse to try and bend out of the way.

    Cleaning out waterways

ask the guy doing the machine they are probably having a cleaning bath of some sort

Oh no! Not that old fog light question again.

The wires hide behind plastic shields inside the wheel arch, these shields look like the inner wing but are not. If both bulbs are good, I would say rev light switch is at fault, and either needs new or adjusting, both of the lamps are pretty crap, but normally clean up just fine. Where are...

Land Rover Discovery 4 Suspension Fault

Tech might have knocked the wires to the height sensors, one on each corner, the sensor plugs and the wires are known weak points.

I would just like to say

What is the incoming water pressure? Vac with your tongue will not compare.

300tdi auto (EDC) revs hunting and surging - idling+ driving

I would ignore the fact it is an EDC to start with and check the fuel supply to the injector pump

    Replacing thermostat

The extended wire type hose clip pliers are all a bit crap, but they do the job.

    Loud fuel pump

Just remember a litre of fuel is roughly one kilo, so run it into the red and then some.
