We have had no problem with Britpart poly bushes on the 90 and the Ninety, pretty sure the ones on the D2 are also Britpart poly bushes (Britpart shocks on the D2 so guess they are Britpart poly bushes)

Fine do it the hard way, I am sure the nuts and bolts would be strong enough to hold the fuel tank in, after all that's what hold all major mechanical parts to a car. My tank has been out and back in with the original tank support so it can be done. When I have to do it then I will replace with...

You can buy a tank support which attaches from underneath. It might by YRM who sell it.

One of the problems is actually getting the engine up to temperature to get enough warmth out of the heater. Another problem is stopping the heat escaping the vehicle.

I just use rubber hose and jubilee clips on all our pipe fittings.

It has a (2) in the diagram, would that suggest there should be two? I'm not much use as I don't even know where it goes.

On our Ninety it's 8mm to lift pump, the lift pump came with a new pipe to the filter, then it's 8mm to the injection pump. It's 6mm going back to the tank. Bear in mind it's a conversion but still fuel pipes should be the same. With regards to the rear tank on yours I am no help.

Bit odd, if I had paid for a fully restored vehicle I would atleast expect it to start! I have found on some old diesels to run the glow plug sequence twice, if it's on a timer, to get it going. I should imagine there is a recommended starting sequence in the owners hand book, maybe it is user...

We got a heater from T7 Designs which build stuff for kit cars etc. Sold the round heater which was complete and working, well, apart from the leak!

Haynes manual will have one I should think.

I have seen later ones which are flat. We had a round one which worked well in a truck cab, until it leaked!

Has it been running since he got it back? I presume so if it's been restored, all the same speak to the people who restored it would be my first port of call.

Mine was noisy new and has got quieter.
