I'm paying that for my 05 TD4!

Thanks hd3, I've already checked there, don't have a bolt there (one of the previous owners lost it) there is some rubbing from when it was there but definitely no hole.

All the ones I'm seeing are £130 and above. Where'd you get yours?

Just a little update, replace MAF with new one now and it's miles better. Still a little smoke and the turbo whistle seems to be a little louder. So thinking might be a very small hole somewhere along the turbo hoses or maybe the clamps aren't "clamping" good enough. Don't know if I'll be able...

Hopefully someone has one for you. As far as I know pretty easy to replace. Just be careful of Airbag!!!

Just a decent flat head screwdriver would suffice. The tab isn't that strong.

As pwood said, had to do this with my rear wheels as handbrake wouldn't hold the wheels tight enough (no prop shaft on mine). Wheel on ground fully no jacks or stands!

Yeah forgot to say, power feels better especially up hills, it was really struggling before.

So had a drive with the MAF unplugged and there's is about 90% less smoke, just a puff of black smoke under heavy load. So guessing the MAF is kaput!

2 of them weren't firing properly so took all of them apart and gave them a refurb. Don't know what you mean about adaptations.

Checked hoses and all seem to be fine, no splits or holes. Disconnected the MAF and still seem to be a lot of smoke. Gonna leave it off today while I go out and see if it clears up any. Here's the after-MAF (sorry had too 😁) Also see pic for the "soot" left on the ground!

Yeah replace them when installing and made double sure everything was in perfect before putting everything back together. But just to make sure I'll have a look tomorrow to make double double sure 😃

Mines blanked off. I'm gonna look at the hoses and try unplugging the MAF as well. I wonder if I've knocked a hose or clip when doing the work?

This is it, just temporary, but works really well!

The Impedance is 8 ohms as far as I know it should be 4 ohms. I used an old subwoofer from an old stereo that was 4 ohms. I'll post a pic shortly.

Forgot that could affect it. Will give it a go later and see what happens.
