On my disco i used to have an 85 ltr tank which would hold around 55ltrs and i get around 110miles per fill up,cheapest gas around here was 58p altr.

How does it run when on petrol?My v8 used to run bad when on lpg,i put new leads on it and it solved the miss fire and it ran smooth,have a look under the bonnet when its dark and see if you can see the leads arking.

looking to buy a new set of leads,will the above be ok to run on lpg.

Im looking for a lpg engineer in the worcestershire area or in the midlands to run a diagnostic on my system as ive had it serviced but the system is running worse than it was before the service,as the guy who servised it says he can not set the system up properly as he can not use a modern lap...

want to change it not due to running costs but due to constant miss fire on gas but need something to tow a horsebox so thought id try a diesel !!

with gas at 54p a ltr i have no problems with the running price,its just that the wife just does not like.I dont drive as i ride motorbikes so its her vehicle not mine.

Ive got a T reg GS V8 auto at the moment,but im considering part exchanging it for a diesel,If i did what would be the best model to go for?

had to change the header tank as it decided to split as we was towing the horse box,managed to get water from a local farmer and limped into local scrap yard to to get one of a V8,got it for £10 and put it on their and then done around 150 miles after fitting the new one and no more leeks.

Can anyone explain why im only getting 120-130 miles per fill up,ive only just had the system serviced,and as i said in my earlier post that i can only get in max-54lts :(,will it make a difference if i fill up from a different garage to how much i can get in the tank,sorry if thats a stupid...

I pay 54p a ltr,and on the 20th fill up you get it for free.

Thanks for the reply,ive just had it serviced and had a new regulator fitted as the old one was not working properly.i also had a leak from one of the pipes which cut me down to 90 mls on a full tank.Ive just filled up yesterday so i will see how many miles i get from a full tank now.

Its a 80 ltr tank,but the maximum we can get in it is around 55ltrs.I was talking to someone today and the seem to think i should be getting more around the 200 mile.

the best was about 120 miles.

Ive got a 80 ltr gas tank on my Treg 3.9 v8.what is the average mileage i should expect to get from a full tank?

Just a quick question,Ive got a T reg disco,and ive not owned it long and as its been raining today i went to use the rear wiper and it does not seem to be working.The washer seems to be working fine but the wiper does not seem to want to work.Any suggestions?thanks,shaun

my T plate v8 has just started to miss fire,it does not do it all the time but is becoming very annoying especially if it decides to do it whilst going up the main street in town,it only seems to miss fire whilst its running on lpg and as Ive not had the vehicle for long so i dont no if the lpg...
