hi all. :) i need to replace my tailgate door seal, it's the one on the chassis not the one on the door. theres a 5 door freelander in my local breakers yard. problem is the doors closed & he's no keys to open it & the engine/batt are all missing from the vehicle.. does anyone know how to open...

got the fittings for the engine cover ok, fitted in 15 mins..

like i said fleabay & breakers yards are a god send as long as you don't mind getting dirty. it's not every ones cup of tea & you have to be carefull etc but that price is bloody outrages :mad:.. rip off britain ...

£196+vat!!.. God how do they justify that price. No wonder fleabay + car breakers make good hunting grounds..Lol ...

Had to order all the parts as the stealer ship didnt have them in stock.. They will be in on Tuesday, cost £10.78 incl vat so happy with that.:) The parts guy was quite helpful too & also told me that pentland land rover Edin had won the contract for the whole of Edinburgh so would be moving to...

Hi all, Could anyone tell me the size & if possible a pic/description of what the engine cover bolts for a 2001 Td4 are please.. I've owned this one for 3 weeks now & it came with the cover held on by what looks like a stud with a washer & bolt through it at the top of the cover & a black cable...

cheers matey, :) I'll give this a try at the weekend. I have found a receipt for a replacement mechanism on the drivers window but nothing on the rear one, i suspect they were done by 2 different people with the drivers one being done competently & working fine & the rear one being botched...

god knows mate, i took off the back quarter panel to have a look at the relays etc. they all seem to be in place ok & i cannot see any wiring that's been cut/spliced anywhere near them either.. i wonder as the ecu thinks the windows down, could not just slacken off the glide rail that hold the...

yep. upon taking off the rear cover i noticed the inside of the door has broken glass lying in it. not a lot but enough to tell me that the rear window had been broken at one stage & replaced.. The rear heating element wires had been left off too so i fitted them back on.. it's funny how the...
