    Load noise when slowing down

    thanks all, got under and took a look, found diff to be moving very easily. front diff mounting bolt had come out but luckily was still in the damper bracket and the RH bolt was half out so the diff must have been bouncing around like a good'n, did a test drive seems OK, hopefully problem solved.

    Thanks for the Advice I'll get my torque wrench and check the wheel nuts, did find one thing which appear to have made some improvements the tyre pressure was at 2.5 bar and not 2.1. And the noise is at a lower speed now, are freelander's generally noise ?

    Hello All I pick up my 2005 Freelander TD4 SE Hardback today, but I had a 100 mile plus drive home so started to notice things that I did not pick up on the test drive, like vibration at 75 to 80 mph. I've never driven a 4x4 before this one but I doubt if this is normal :confused:
