Its just my v8 is very tidy underneath, i just thought a rebuilt tdi lump in a gud chassis would be better than buying a rotten tdi with loads of miles on it, maybe lpg is another option, but thats £1500,

It was all gud till i went down a drop, small bit of water, then it wouldnt idle, Dried out now runs ok, but misses a little in the mornings, il have a look at prices and go from there

Disco1 v8 3.9 auto, Mines just petrol, not completely filled it up yet, i reckon at least 200 miles to a tank tho, on a run, I just chuck 30 quid in when i take it out for a play

Check out kempston radiators, remaufactured ones, just got one for my disco. Have u checked water pump ? Also flushed through with hoses disconnected ? Do all hoses get warm ? Could be an air lock in rad. Good luck !

Does this happen on every disco that has a lift kit fitted ? Im thinking of putting a 2 inch lift kit on mine at some point, Other than longer brake hoses, would i need to do anything with the prop ? 1998 disco 1 v8 auto.

Went to the newbury one, Wasnt as good as i thought it would be, Good if you want parts for the old series vehicles but not really disco's, Alot of parts were overpriced aswel, £6 to get in, hammered down with rain, Not bad but not brilliant
