    VCU Torque test results

    My VCU test results. 2004MY Freelander facelift TD4, no tow bar, 139k miles, ambient temperature 4 Celsius. 1.2 meter bar with 5.0 kg of bricks on 32mm wheel nut, one wheel lifted, handbrake off, time to go from 45 degrees to horizontal: 42,40,41,39 seconds. So my VCU is okay for now.?

    Yes, it is a diesel. TD4. I did have a brief think about a 1.8 but it has a timing belt, and I do not like engines with timing belts.
