    Pollen Filter

Did some of the earlier models not have a pollen filter fitted? My 1.8 is a 99 and I 've checked all the images I can find regarding it's location but none of them look like my aircon/heater unit.

    M.O.D. sale..

I thought this was odd when looking at one of the LR's "Date into service was 1986 and the speedo reads 10,160KM which cannot be guaranteed to be accurate and is unlikely to be correct." Why would it not be correct, do squaddies clock them :D

    Insurance?

If you know it has something different from standard or if you add anything from standard declare it, some things will be ignored, some won't depending on the the insurance company, but for sure if you don't tell them and need to claim they'll void your insurance.

    Rear Wiper = Stupid Halfords

Popped into Halfords to get a new rear wiper today, I knew the Bosch ones don't fit so checked their books and it lists a Freelander rear as W12 which is 14" long and not the correct 13" and doesn't even list the Freelander on the packing with all the other cars anyway, total ****, no point...

    Hill Descent and TC lights

First thing I would do is disconnect the caravan plug and see if still blows fuses at least you'll know if it's the caravan electrics or the Freelanders electrics at fault.

1.8k clutch gone light and bite very low to floor?

Not looked at mine but yeah seems a bit **** that you can't bleed it, most cars have a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder.

Hello form a Norfolk Freelander owner

Hi, people, nice to find a site that is actually active. Bought myself my first 4x4 a couple of weeks back, I must be mad or brave but I went for a 99 Freelander. It's in top condition for it's age, engine replaced 10k ago, and just had the centre diff mount replaced. So far I've replaced the...
