    300 tdi died today.

Low range drop in 3rd gear and hang off it ur using the clutch to lock crank against drive line. That's how I did mine dead easy with rad left in and no coolant drained

    Electrical Starting Issue

They are rear shock droppers to give more articulation and it now sounds like you have a starter motor that's failed under load if u are getting sparks and having to hit it

    Electrical Starting Issue

You would think so yes but jump leads are very poor quality and obviously they don't have the best connection to either vehicle either. You would be surprised how many breakdowns I go to and people say oh it's not my battery I've tried a jump start off the neighbours v8 on my fiesta and it won't...

    Electrical Starting Issue

Also a jump start off another car will only produce what a set of jump leads or alternator can supply so max 200a.

Clock wise is the correct rotation. I think if I was local we could have this diagnosed in about 30 mins lol. I'm really hoping for ya it's not a knickers engine buddy

    Electrical Starting Issue

Go earth on starter to earth on battery and crank it over. Basically u should see less than 0.5v like this any more and you have a bad earth. Easy way to test is get a jump pack and put poss on battery and negative to engine block if it starts it proves a bad earth. All of what you describe...

    Timing Belt Change on Auto

All you do it put the woodruff key dead at 12 o'clock and when belt is off you can see a tiny arrow at the back that lines up with cutout on crank pully. Only tool I used to do mine was 9mm drill bit and common sense. To be sure your happy when belt is off get it cock on on the arrow and mark...

    300tdi leak-off pipes

5 quid euro car parts for a kit 1 metre long with end stops

    300tdi crank case

It shouldn't be able to get in there with the plug in asking as gasket is all ok and ac tensioner or breather has sealed gasket behind it. Will make sure mine come out after I go offroad next time for sure now

    overheating, or is it?

    Insurance

I used Swinton on specialist policy for modded landys cost me 215 a year I'm 30 a mechanic which bangs all my policy's up usually and they don't take note of no claims as its specialist policy so ideal if u have none like me because they are on another car

    oil leak from timing case

Your belt wear is caused by the oil as the oil attacks the rubber causing failure so be sure to wash 100% of the oil off before new belt goes on with brake cleaner or similar. You will need a couple of cans to get that lot off
