    Radio suppression

thanks for the replies............. The reception general is poor which I think is done to what Nodge68 is saying, if I go under a bridge I lose reception altogether. There is no difference if the engine is running or at higher revs, it gets much worse when electrical components are used -...

HDC warning light on its own

Throttle cable adjustment and new pot fitted (best price was Rimmers by the way) but light is still on. The odd thing is if I start the car with the brake pedal held down the light does not come on straight away when setting off but does after about 500 yards. Any other ideas ?

The HDC warning light on my 55 plate has come on. On ignition it comes on with all the other warning lights and when the engine is started it goes off. Once I start to move, forward or reverse, it comes on. Sometimes after 50 yards, sometimes after half a mile - then stays on. I've...

    Heated rear windscreen

I had the same problem a few weeks ago so checked the connections behind the rear door panel and they were ok. I then used a test light on the filaments and found some were slightly worn through on the bottom - it looks like as the window goes up and down they wear away. I bought some liquid...

Replaced Clutch master & slave cylinders

I've just replaced the clutch master & slave cylinder on my 55 plate 1.8 and wondered how much movement I should expect, if any, when used. When the clutch pedal is depressed there is some very slight movement of the slave bracket and cylinder as it pushes against the locating arm. Is this...
