It's very good, the lane is healing itself without the need for over zealous council repairs.

    Trailer Test Experiences

Pretty sure the handbrake bit is true. Did mine a couple of weeks ago and was told to put handbrake on whenever stationary and especially when pedestrians are crossing in front of you. This was exactly the same when I took the normal test 8ish years ago.

    Trailer Test Experiences

I did mine two weeks ago, passed first time with a couple of minor faults. Cost me £450 in total. I can recommend a good tutor in the guildford area if anyone needs one.

    300TDI ...Boost gauge

I've wondered if the threaded hole in the back of the inlet manifold could be used. Would make a nice neat soloution if it could.

I thought I'd lobbed it in the back too. But having emptied the back and all three toolboxes I can't find it anywhere. Can only think I left it on the nut of the broken wheel when input it back on the door. Double bummer is they aren't landrover locking nuts so can't just order another key, had...

So the one with a screw in it isn't repairable :-( best they can do is put a tube in it. Now did anyone see what I did with the locking nut key? I don't seem to have it anymore

It appears I picked up a screw in one of my other tyres while we were out!

Diff lock do I have it?

I think you mean to get in to low rather than difflock. Difflock can be engaged whilst in high or low and is completely independent of the high/low selection. Unless you drive a series that is

My plan is to finish fixing it after my last outing and then do my best to dodge work on Sunday and go out with you guys and break something else.

The 5th sounds good to me. I tried the rough one that runs from beacon hill and ends on whitmoor vale road at the weekend and got down it with no trouble despite the way it looks.

SLS Slow burn fuse for compressor

A slow blow fuse is designed to withstand the inrush currents you get when motor starts to turn. All fuses can become 'tired' and just blow from old age sometimes, especially if the current flowing through them is close to their rating.
