I went out to the truck last night and noticed a small amount of water on the rubber mat in the front passenger footwell. Not a massive amount but certainly more than a couple of drops. I had a good feel around under the glovebox and there was no sign of damp whatsoever. No-one had been...

Good point and good idea. Your post has made me realise one thing; no matter what I use it will still leave indents. I suppose the question is just how far to go to minimise the risk. Your idea will be cheaper but I'd worry that such a flat surface would make the seats liable to movement...

Sounds familiar :D Mine's an ES and the heating doesnt work on the drivers side. Lights come on on both switches but only the passenger side works. I'll happily take your working seat for my non-working seat. At least then we'll both have seats that act the same as each other! ;)

My drivers heated seat is not working. The passenger seat heats up fine so, as it appears to be a single fuse, I'm pretty sure it's not the fuse. The light comes on on the heated seat button. Could anyone advise what I could check for? Thanks, Will

Nice one, glad to hear it. :) You thinik it's soley the blanking plate that's helped the mpg? What mpg were you getting before?
