Fuel pumps are seperate on TD4, not attached directly to engine and electrically driven. It's a high pressure common rail diesel so, if one or more injectors stuck open during the meltdown, the pumps will keep pouring diesel in all the time the ignition switch is on

Yep It's a breather for the Turbo It hangs down behind the engine with that filter on the end and remains open to the atmosphere

There's a big ass engine mount on the drivers side that is prone to giving way. Also check rear diff mount bushes

That does indeed sound good but, the £1000 to £2000 prices are for when you/they are unable to remove the injector from the head. How much would it have cost if they couldn't remove one and had to take the head off?
