    New Freelander Feature - Rattle!

All in I reckon you're good to go with your mechanic - I've always thought supplying parts to them to fit is a bit of an insult (depending on price obviously) I think I was up near £300 just for the genuine pully+labour+VAT and you'll get a full warranty off him rather than an argument over...

    3 Amigo's -- SORTED

Well it didn't make any difference for me, Cleaned up and made sure the sensor connection was good - no shorts or breaks. Lights still came on twice in the last few days. They will go off if I turn off the ignition and turn it back on. They will stay off for 2 hours, 2 days or even 2...

    New Freelander Feature - Rattle!

If you are in London, why do you keep saying Kilometres? I am of an age where I have no concept of a Km in my mind, but I can look across open country and know how far a mile is - or even how much land is an acre - but I'm fecked if I know how much land is a Hectare :D

    New Freelander Feature - Rattle!

That belt looks to loose if it lifts away like that - the tensioner keeps it real tight. and, go back and read the link about the Crank Pully If it were me, I'd have both replaced - it's a tricky job so get a good indie to do it

The level switch is earthed on one side and the power feed to it is from the ABS CCU, so maybe there is a check circuit function like the Brake Light Switch. I may be straw clutching - but it might not be a simple on/off swtch but a measure of changing resistance across the switch - so if it...

    3 Amigo's -- SORTED

Well now, that's interesting. What you are saying is that the Brake Fluid Sensor or it's plug-in - if not sending a correct signal will also switch off the ABS system and illuminate the 3 Amigos - even without illuminating the Low Fluid light. I've been watching your Intermittant Thread...
