iv just ordered a shielder chassis the price was good and only £100 delivery,

they do look cool on the bonnet,iv been thinking of putting mine there

i have a compressor to did you thin it down? i have got a Sheilder Chassis coming there quite a bit cheaper,im not sure what top coat or even colour im going for yet,will prob be black tho,raptor paint looks tough

thanks guys so ill t wash( does ammonia washing do the same thing) then etch prime then a top coat,thinking white chassis with red axles and yellow suspension bits.....to much? also TorsionBhudda did you spray the etch primer or paint it on?

hi peeps iv just ordered me new chassis,been told it be about 3 to 4 weeks so i got time on getting paint,my question is what primer and top coat? do i use an etch primer or should i use zinsser bullseye 123,also whats raptor like? cheers guys

so iv managed to get the prop back on over the weekend and changed the 2 uj's but i still have a shaking,it not as bad as it was but its still there,could the prop need replacing or am i missing something?

thanks mate for the reply i did think that but didnt want to mess up,just popped around the block and no rattle so i was right about the uj's, i have managed to change them just ran out of time to fix the prop back,one more thing how fast can i drive in diff lock is 50-60mpm ok for a day or so

hi fellow landy lovers,got home tonight and decided to take front prop of so i could see if it rattled on the way to work tomorrow as iv been having issues at 50mph,went to take it for a quick spin to see if it made a difference and couldnt get of the bloody drive lol am i right in thinking its...

its so hard to discribe it, it happens while going straight and it dont wander but it shakes and feel like somethings going to fall of lol

hi i have a defender 90 1992 an its developing a really nasty front wobble,it started a few weeks ago if i went over a couple of bums it would start and only stop if i slowed down, now its starting on its own if i go over 60 or hit little bums,have been told it could be the swivels needing...

well iv done one side and doing the other side this morning,ill just see what happens next year when mot is due and i go to renue the insurence

can any one shed some light on my issue,have just tried to phone dvla but there closed, i wanted to fit some side windows to my defender 90 1992 but was told by a friend if your log book said light goods(which it bloody does)that i couldn't do it unless i payed tax:confused: dont no what to do...

er whats the ampage to need extra cable:o
