    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Will do. Thinking 50/50 success right now, but I guess that depends on where I chop the standard exhaust and switch to flexi.

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Hmmm, I'm not sure it will. Body mount clamped to the body, so it can't vibrate here, specially if using a heat resistent rubber washer. Vibration in the main system can dissipate in the flexi connection to the body clamp, possibly.............. Allthough, this very much remains to be...

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Well, mate of mine is wielding my wee side exit set up for me. Hoping for some advice as follows; If you see my sketch, the two rings will clamp either side of the body panel. Do you think I need to worry about heat transfer to the body panel?? and if so, any ideas for a heat sink gasket to...

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

For me, apart from looking cool, the point is, the existing outlet drops down below the rear tyre and is vulnerable to getting battered. Lifting the outlet up to the body panel just gets it out the way. Oh, and it looks cool so bollocks.:D:D See below, this is what I want to make as a body...

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Sounds good but my SS system is only about a year and a half old and I aint got that sort of money. But, if you got a full system for £250, I guess you should be able to get about three foot of single bent tube, for maybe £50??

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Yeh Cheers Trewey, saw that one. I'm thinking, without the small silencer you could reduce the parts list to a piece of flexi pipe and the small exit pipe for going through the body panel, plus something like the D44 ring, but not at an FU price. Or, do without that wee bit of pipe bit too if...

    Side Exit Exhaust - Again

Have read a few posts on side exit exhausts, please excuse starting another but did'nt want to resurect an old thread. Some interesting approaches posted, most appear to involve chopping and wielding, which I do not have the facilities to do. So I though, why not just hack the end off the...

    Kinda new

I'd go for rock/ tree sliders combo. Does'nt aide getting in that much, but usefull protection, usefull to stand on to see over stuff and wash the roof etc. I suggest avoiding steps if you intend anything other than moderate green laning. Nackered mine, including the rear step, on my first...
