It is the part that you bolt the hard top on, or if you have a canvas hood where the tilt frame attaches to, im not sure if it is the proper name for them. on early ninetys the galvenising was left unpainted on them.

Ye the dickies mounted to the caping, i dont really want forward facing seats, because it ruins the load area and i dont want to have to find a place to mount the seatbelts.

LRO say they only do about 18mpg, my dads low milage N/A with a jeremy fern intercooler did about 26 with steady use, cued 2 cruise at about 55! Personally i would get a later one with a 200tdi, my dad has done a transplant and it is a much nicer engine!

If you have bought a scrap discovery to pull the engine out and scrap the rest, and if you are looking for some rear seats, the dickies out of the rear of the disco, with a bit of custom fitting, will fit into the back of a 90/Defender or even a 110. I fit mine to the capping, it cannot be...
