Had long conversations with several companies most say they will not cover you on a green lane and needs to be a specific insurances stating it covers green lanes. My previous insurer said in no uncertain terms they don't include greenlanes even though classified as public highway. Always worth...

They also don't cover you for green lane insurance unfortunately And having been informed that claiming on my insurance will affect my no claims with three vehicles to insure I won't recover those costs back when I get hammered on renewal time :(
