actually dont seem like such a silly idea if you carry a compressor or a pump. just a panus in the anus when you wanna quickely fit the spare and gotta stand there pumping it up.

ye as you can see mine dont quite fit either but it holds it firmly enuff im pretty sure it would stay there even without lashing it to the wall.

Continuing on from this thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/spare-wheel-stowage-163838.html I wanted to stow my spare inside and until now it had just been lying on the floor very much in the way. So i bought the wheel dish in the above post from ebay and here's how I fitted it in...

good job with stall. you might be lucky and be able to fix it. worst case need new block.

well if you think ur disco is lifted then wide angle props are recommended. be great if you could take a pic of ur front propshaft in situ so we can see the angle it is at. but ye a new UJ should be the solution.
