I took the car to land rover dealer in boston, and it turned out to be a wheel bearing gone. had them hanged under warranty and its all fixed now. do not use the land rover stealers in peterborough they are rubbish. thanks for every one and there help.

not yet im going to pick it up soon and ask for a full detailed report. im still having to pay the stealers £70. to get what i already know. :mad:

a bit of both. they said they heard it once and then it went. they have (apparently) looked at all the mechanical bits of it. and can not find any faults with the car. but the noise was getting worse until 2 days ago. i don't know what do do now. do i leave it until something goes bang...

2.25 diesel 1977 series 3 does any one have the part number for the 2 bolts and nuts that hold the diesel injectors in place. also the top fuel rail that connects the injector together all help will be appreciated many thanks adam
