I have been told that it has a mod filter in it so i will order a new one of these and change it or as madmustang says clean it out Thanks Lads for your reply's I'll give it a try

Thanks for the reply mate i have ordered all new filters i take it you mean the small cylinder type filter down by the air filter

I have a 2002 land rover freelander td4 i have just changed the fuel filter due to a starting problem and it being smokey it will start in the morning and will smoke until it is up to temp which means i have to leave ticking over for a while or i cause problems on the road for the cars behind me...
