This is what I used. Just put some clear pipe on the pump and away you go. You can buy the pump for £3 than i used a car shampoo container.

Looking at buying either a 300tdi or a td5. What do i need to be checking engine and transmission wise on the td5. The landy I'm going to see first is a 1999 on 112,000. Is there anything that should have been done at this age / miles

Well after a couple of hours searching I found the fault to be the permanent supply to the switch from the fuse board. When I checked at the switch with a meter the power was there but under a load it wasnt. After replacing the wire the hazards are working fine. :)

Will give it a try. But surely the indicators would have a earthing fault as well as the hadards. Seems strange that the indicators now work off the column with the hazard switch in the on position where before I changed the hazard switch it needed to be in the off position. ( if that makes any...

I was thinking of fitting one to the offside and using the top wing vent then route a hose round the rear of the engine to the airbox. But like what you have done Richard its a really neat job. You got me thinking now.

Richard is that hose connected straight to the intake or does it go through a airbox first. Are the mushrooms a filter or just a capping on the pipework.

I have replaced the dowty washers on the pipe connected to the rear of the power steering pump but carnt get them to seal. Are these the correct washers to fit or shoud they be copper washers. I also want to fit a snorkle and hope to fit one for the 200tdi engine as I intend to replace the NA...
