    Is the heater working?? is there mayonaise or contamination in the oil? might be wise to slow down and take your time with looking at the signs and symptoms before rushing right in.

    yeah I do have aircon:D, aircon is a pain in the a.... I didnt realise how much of a pain it really was... for the moment I am just going to bypass the heating.. need to be mobile without over heating.

    I did find a better place to do it, 40 for the skim and 40 for the pressure test.. they are in woolwich, if anyone wants there number let me know. and good old machine mart does a torque wrench for 20 odd quid some ok wrenches for common use. (sounds like my girlfriend...):) With a gasket...

    I am in the process of doing mine too buddy, I am not a mechanic myself but you can pay up to 500 big ones just to get the head skimmed and pressure tested with the labour and gaskets included... so it really pays to do it yourself. just like I was advised, get a torque wrench and get some...

    looking at some of the responses I have had, I must admit I was a little shocked to see that the skim and pressure test, I was looking at paying £200... wtf?! and you guys are saying about 20-100.. (that feels a lot better on the wallet and my sanity.) got some time off soon. with a few cups...

    heater hose went at the rear... nice split... temp went up bad... and now the heater doesnt work. checked thermostat reflushed and filled the system with coolant... but no luck on it as had it pressure tested and it changed the pressure test fluid with the gasses. sounds like I am just...
