i am enjoying series 3 ownership but a new business venture means i wont have much time for it in the next few months, i will be gettin another in the future though! basically it is a mot'd vehicle. it has light accident damage from my notorious maiden off road voyage! these amount to the need...

that would explain it bein quieter in fourth then! will check the oil level, it is likely to be down on oil i reckon, will i have to get it on ramps to check?

right, now i have got her goin, i need to take her to bits again to try and sort what i think is the loudest gearbox on earth! the probs: foot off clutch, engine idling=whiney noise poss bearing sound?? driving in 123 and reverse =horrendous noise from the gearbox 4 seems fine and reasonably...

noo then! i do want to leave it alone, and the oil shower made all of us laugh too!...til i had to clean everyones car! i now need to take it for a run and try to clear some of the oil out of the system and then look at the gearbox! there is a big leak either from the gearbox or transfer box...

i am hoping to find that out! updat on the old girl, got it fired up today, smokin like a good un but up and runnin never the less! gearbox is making a lot of noise though... i think that is gonna have to wait as me car needs taxing now! it never ends...

sounds like fun, will have to get my thing sorted first but deffo gonna try the black route next!

i think i am goin to enjoy series ownership! and dont worry, i am not planning on using it as an everyday drive! got a nice comfy audi for that;) bit of a contrast to the series but not a tenth of the character!! i am sure i will be doin everything that my tdi owning mates will be! after...

right the injectors are back in, engine bay is cleaned up, battery is on charge, will i need to bleed it??

well last time i went i was in my mk1 hilux called "the talivan", we went round the intermediate course cos me pick up didnt have a winch... even that old bus didnt struggle! tbh i havent been round the hard course yet but i have heard a few mates say that it is easy. would like to find out...

where do you all go to play then? many of ya go to langdsale quest or is that a bit too easy for all of ya?

i was more than that for most of the day old 2.25 cant match his 300tdi lol! should be even worse now, he has now built a space framed v8! might get him to tow me to langdale next time!! we would probably get there quicker... i am pleased with the way the gutless old girl does in the muddy...
