Once again thanks to both of you for your time. I must say, my sunroofs are not leaking, so I don't have a problem. But prevention is always better than cure. I suppose the best way might be to poor water into the drain area and see where it emerges. But not had a chance to try it yet. :D RichardG

I suppose if you had a good multimeter, you could check the resistance of each solenoid, to find the faulty one. If it is faulty that is ;) RichardJG

Sounds like the injector solenoid has sealed the spill port off, which obviously allows fuel to be pumped into the cylinder at a great rate and totally out of control. Suspect a faulty injector, but also might be a computer/electrical fault. It looks as though it's going to be expensive whatever...
