on my disco after not usuing it that much, (was working away for 4 weeks) coming back and ive just recently noticed it has lost some boost, i have a boost gauge and it used to go up to around 11psi, now it just goes to about 6 or 7psi. and it is noticeably slower. it does put out a bit of grey...

does anyone know the name or the part number for the little gaskets around the spacer plate/bellhousing area that leak and are often mistaken for the cranks seal.

The diff didnt fail it was the outer pinon bearing is why I changed it. But yes I should of changed it. So ep 90 or 80 90?

i recently changed the rear diff on my disco 1, due to the bearings destroying themselves. it had the rear thick dark oil in it so i just used this again. after a few miles it seems to be making a slight wine. it was abit naughty putting the old stuff back in i know but i got told the thick...

thanks mate, there wasent a huge amount of play so just changed the release bearing and put a new spigot bearing in:)

yes lol managed to get about one third of the way home and wheel bearing gave up lol

Right ive done a quick search and not really found out. On my 200tdi disco someone has wired in what looks like bmw remote central locking as it has a bmw fob. It seems to be playing up. When I press the buttons on the fob it does not do anything. Central locking is fine on the key though...

having a clear out and these are for sale, still about at least 4 to 5mm tread left on them so would make an ideal winter tyre as they grip well still, are some stress cracks in the side wall but no cords showing and hold pressure fine. insas by belly257, on Flickr pm me on here or contact...

And should give a little more ground clearence. My trackrod arm is just one piece with tje damper bolted to it and then bolted to the back of the diff casing

probably to long really, that kit looks easy to make, may just weld a new bracket to the chassis like abit of angle bar with a hole in it

out offroading and bent my drag link arm again ( the one behind the axle) so ive ordered a new standard one. its is the one which has the mount for the steering damper welded to it, now i cannot seem to find a hd one with this mount on it. so im looking at gettin this: Heavy Duty Track Rod...

My land rover is just a toy really not loads of daily driving so may just stick with a good lt77 as smothness does not bother me:D
