My system is an AEB/ Romaro super stage vapouriser single point injection. I was also led to believe from the guy I bought it off that 20 MPG was the norm on LPG. ( I know its Christmas afternoon but I'm stuck at work till 10 O'clock tonight)

Sorry to butt in guys, but my second fill was 66 Ltrs at a cost of £37.88. Now I may be missing something here but to travel 140 miles for £37.88 is pretty poor I think.

Well topped the tanks up today and they took 18 ltrs to fill, I had covered 42 miles since last fill so I am getting 10 MPG steady driving, not town driving, this cant be right, the car drives fine, maybe it needs to go for a LPG service. Then if it's no better it needs to go !

Looking at your reply Listerdiesel, it may be the cut off float failed to cut off on the second fill, if so my figures for working out the MPG will be wrong, because it allowed more fuel in on the second fill compared to the first fill. If this keeps happening then I will never be able to work...

Something wrong here surely, the first fill was 58 Ltrs empty tanks to full tanks, covered 140 miles of steady A road driving, the second fill was 66 Ltrs to full, and I dont think the tanks were empty. So i only got 140 miles from 66 Ltrs. Which equates to about 10 MPG. It was filled on cold...

I'v got a 1995 V8 with LPG, ran the tanks to virtually empty, felt a lack of power, so assumed they were empty. It has 2 x 36 Ltr tanks so filled up and pump stopped at 58 ltrs, about right from reading the forum regards ullage. Did 140 miles so filled up again to see what MPG I was getting...

The covers over the nuts seem a bit flimsy are you sure they would stand up to a socket and bar wrenching on them?

Got myself one of the special tools from land rover and 1st time I used it most of the ends of the fingers snapped off :mad:. The covers feel loose is there a knack of getting them off ?

The electric rear windows on my M reg discovery only go down half way, is this normal? Is there a switch that allows them to open fully?

Got the bulb and holder out, broke bulb trying to seperate the two, looks like the bulb and holder are one unit, is this correct ? took holder and what was left of the bulb to Halfrauds but they don't sell them. Is this a dealer order only?

The bulb has blown on my rear wipe switch, can they be bought or are they a part of the switch?

Just got my M reg discovery and looking around, should my high level lights and indicators come on with the tailgate lights on the rear bumper ?

Was going to try changing the oil and filter, is it much more work to remove the transfer box to get to the governer valve?

Looks like I have the classic problem of the auto box not wanting to change up when cold on my V8. Have done a search and it appears to be the governer valve clogging up, can it be cleaned with the sump pan off or will the box need to come out to get to it? Any help with locating it please as...
