I'm in the same boat, just bought a TD5 with air suspension, had an Anker towbar fitted last week, when the caravan is on, the car levels itself to its original ride height which is about 2 inches too high, so i'll fit a drop plate to level things up.

my disco 2 td5 knocks and rattles when i start it from cold, the rattliness goes away as it warms up is this normal?????? Apologies for the novice qestions but i am a novice, cheers

just bought a disco 2 for towing and it tows a treat, its a manual which apparently preferable for towing, mines got a chip upgrade, 5th gear all the way, brilliant. had a 5 series beemer estate before and the discovery is loads better.

bought me first landrover this week, disco 2, yr 2000, am I right thinking i can't manually engage diff lock? probably a daft question but its all new to me, cheers.
