    Update for those of you who have kindly assisted me in my dilemma ... I spoke with MME 4x4 this morning and will take the car to him in two weeks' time after I return from holiday. Now I just pray the temporarily corrected suspension does not pack up when taking family and luggage the 40 miles...

    No disrespect to eightinavee, but I don't relish the thought of driving on dodgy suspension from Glasgow to Bath. I fear I could be down to the bump stops before Carlisle. That's why I'll give this local guy a shout first. PS: So glad I joined this forum - I may not end up bankrupt after all...

    Hello all ... joined today on the rebound from a main dealership who quoted me FIVE GRAND to repair the ailing air suspension on my 2000 Range Rover P38 (see RR Forum). I reckon it's time I sought out some honest folk with honest opinions. I look forward to hearing from you.
