hi thanks for that. i have just finished fitting all the ace pump and ps pump alternator etc. just got the rad and oiler coolers then its time to crank over getting the oil moving before fireing. fitted new main bearings big end bearings new front and back oil seals ,new stem seals and reringed...

hi my 4.0 ltr was doing the same when i stripped down it turned out that the oils expander rings where stuck in the grove although it run well and started ok.

hi just rebuilt my 4.0 ltr. goona do the same but my oil pump is a rotar type, but want to make sure evrything has got oil, just got tofit the upper manifold and pumps then thats it.

hi rebuilding my v8. on the front timing cover oil seal they recomend to put retanex grease behind the seal. what is this grease and why do you put it in does it have to be this grease. also any body out there want a good 3.9 block with honed cylinders ready to go. many thanks

hi can any one help i have 2 engines 1 3.9 and 1 4.0 ltre. can the pistons be swapped from the 3.9 to the 4.0, and can the main bearing shells be swapped to the 4.0 ltr. the heads are the 10 bolt type. many thanks
