Thanks for the reply. The registration papers confirm that the chassis number given is correct. Just seemed strange to me.

The company has assured me that the chassis number supplied is correct and as it appears on the ownership documents! No proof yet, the only thing they can supply at the moment is a copy of the export certificate, which I am still waiting for. They are unable to supply a photo of the vehicle...
