I have the TD4 Sport on 04 and I think that style of step/runner was standard on the sport. I too have corroded brackets, not a mark on the car anywhere but the brackets are fu**ed. But I like the step, so I'm looking into making new brackets..

Thanks for the reply Tim, I thought of that but the bit that controls the lights is the twisty end bit and I can't get to the moving parts of that. Also I can't find out which or where the fuse is for the main beam, everything else seems fine, so I didn't think it could be a fuse.
