mine ran ok then went rough but didnt cut out but when i dove it it spulted to a holt. 300tdi self bleeds so id think thats why it worked for so long

got to replace fan anyway as its broken lol

i had problem like that the other day and found the sedimetior had a crack in the top of it bypass it.

what make was the fan or what car was it off

i do intend to do lot of off roading but no towing i just want electric fan just in case

iam thinking of changing the old fan for a electric one but dont want to pay out for a kenlowe. ive read use a mondeo fans and you need a X-Therm Dual Thermostatic Fan Controller but cant find one. or has anyone got a better idea thanks my plan is to fit one to both the 300tdi and the 200tdi

driving ok now just rev counter not working properly and its sounds a bit tappy. changed oil but has been run on veg oil and engine oil was awful. what oil should i use.

right got it off after bit of tapping and pulling it fell off hit me and covered me in fuel. I clean it and when i went to re fit found small cracks in the top part ( where fuel pipes come in and leave). ive bypassed it and it drives fine anyone on know how much a new sedimentor is?

ive removed 11mm bolt from sedimentor and still cant get it off anythink else holds it on

got it that way all ive done is service it and swap wheels over to wider ones and put them on wives disco

its a 1997 on a P had a look has a cable but there is what id think was a pot on the pump

my lift pump does not seem to worl when pumping it is there any way of testing i

its just a plain mechanical pump

hi my 300tdi disco keeps cutting out ive changed the filters air and fuel. no joy. whats happening is it starts fine ticks over fine drive to end of the road as you release the go pedal rev die and it splutters to a stop. crank it 3 or 4 time it starts drive off. soon as you release pedal agaiin...

hi just joined though id say hi. we have two discoveries mines a 300tdi 5ins lift, snorkel, winch bumper big M/T's, disclocating cones, td5 axle. Wifes is a 200tdi winch bumper, M/T's 2 ins lift kit. hope to see some of you soon in the mud
