made good progress on the bulkhead this week. foot wells in, A pillars repaired and new mounts fitted into them, just a small amount of scab removal left then ill have a very nice bulkhead... hopefully :D this weekend at home im going the weld up the new chassis, got a nice jig i borrowed...

well, just a quick update, but no pics, ive broken the camera... the discovery chassis has been cut... im waiting on the fabricators to bend up a bit of box to sleave inside the chassis then ill start welding the series is now a stack of pannels and a chassis. im keeping the chassis as one...

well got cracking on the series this morning and got alot done i think... i got the dash and "interiour" out not like ther is much, disconected all the looms both engine and dash. pedles are out too. removed radiator and front body work, will be just about ready to start takeing off the...

hopefully the series will be coming home on tuesday evening so ill get some more pis up on the weekend of discombobulateing its insides lol

my series is a III, im told so anyway. is got a 2 1/4 diesel, no overdrive, free wheeling hubs and its from 1978 so not tax exemped (otherwise i would deffinatly restore it) someone said it might be a IIa but its my first expedition into landrovers so im not sure here is another pic of it...

to be honest, i think ill just chop down the discovery chassis, how complex are the discovery electronics on the 200tdi as ill have to swap the dash loom to then cut it down a bit. and are there any bits that wont fit that i should be panicing about

i am planning to build a series 3 onto a shortened and modified disco chassis with the disco runnig gear and engine, both vehicles are proper and totaly standard as they sit and i have the log books for them both with matching numbers on them all... what would i be doing to make it right, or...
