not saying your wrong charlsey but according to the workshop manual its the other way round it says looking from the back its on the left hand side just wanted to know if you stagger the gaps all round the piston or just on one half

ah forgot its a 90 you got. Its a lot easier on a 110 like ive got. You just have to drop the anti roll bar out of the way and undo the 4 nuts and bolts and pipe work and suposedly it come down or so i have been told so im hoping its that easy.

ive got a green wire at the front of the engine at the top, around the top water pipe, on my 110 NA, that looks like its supposed to go somewhere but i cant see where. any ideas.

no i was advised by the local landy centre to put normal mineral oil in and change it after 500 miles. The hill is about 1/2 a mile long and steady not too steep but that was my test. Cos i always go up it so i could judge the difference. It is a lot better though, and was mre than capable...

im glad ur running better Pos. denis is running better with more power but nothing special getting up in fourth instead of dropping to third. im wondering if ive got another problem as well causing the lack in power.

cheers slob. That seems to have done the trick. The gasket seems to have slipped out one side a bit but theres no oil comeing out now, so fingers crossed ive done it. Thanks slob and Landyzone for your assistance. Ended up a lot cheaper job than a tdi conversion to solve the problem,Ay. Least...
