problem with defenders is they are too easy for them to steal a simple wire will start them we had some solaniods fitted to our wagons which were built into the feul line hidden away with a switch operated with a round crook lock type key and they isolate the feul costs about £100 to do but...

where would egr unit be i have pulled engine out of a disco and put it in my 110 no ecu or electric boxes so will it run what does it do just send a signal to say how hard its reving for the rev counter in disco dash?

im on about the egr wires i have already broken off the plastic for the solanoid found the single wire and connected it it now works th solanoid but what are the egr wires for do i need to connect them to something? ignore them?

what do i do with the three ontop

hi guys i smashed the plastic off the back and removed little circuit board and there is one black wire that goes to the solaniod crimped my ignition live onto it jobs a good un it works what are the three wires that go into the top of feul pump? do i need them?

anyone got a passenger side door complete

im desperate for a passenger door just built up my 110 fitted a 300tdi and im short of a door its all i need to get it on the road ny condition aslong as its complete ish :)

oh and guys if anyone else is thinking of doing this swap i took some handy pics of where to move engine mounts to and what studs to take out of gear box etc

went for the power steering engine is now in after a lot of ****ing around had to cut o/s engine mount off and move it back but it sits in perfect now has anyone or do you know someone who has a passenger side complete or as near as defender door please if so where and how much

many thanks for that redhead im part way through it now just pulled engine out of both im going to give it a whirl next weekend fingers crossed should be ok not going to bother with power stearing and cant i just move rad oil cooler etc back and make brackets for it

ah ok do i have to fit and electric fan or does the engine mounted one still do the job?
