seen loads of pics of series 3 with cover over front grill. When/why do I need to get one on please? Farmers always had plastic sack in front when I was a kid (one or two years ago), could I use that? Thanks

Got operators manual and part cdrom, but STILL don't know which fuse does what on the steering colume.Can some one please tell me? Sorry being pain, but brand new to series 3 and want to do as much as I can on own. Where can I get new fuse box from?

I guess ebay for multimeter? While I'm on there is it worth getting imperial spanners?

Been told I need bigger battery, could that be issue? starts fine, but does seem struggle to turn engine on fist go. Told my local Agriculture/tractor store best place for battery? Very limited funds, but want to get truck winter fit....

Took new best friens out to work saturday. On way back at 03.oo hrs was worried that lights would be bit dull, like any LR I've ever had. Imagine how chuffed I was when they were well bright, with and without mainbeam... About halfway through trip lights began to flicker and went duller...

It was just like that. Would only work with pressure from below. Took conecter out, but could not get too see what problem was so cable tie only solutuion till I take heater apart.

Thanks folks. Got under bonnet this morning. Horn had both connections loose.sorted. The heater power connection appeared loose as well. I tightened the connector, but only worked if i pulled to one side. Sorted with a cable tie for now. I guess the whole heater unit will have to come off at...

Said I would have hundred questions..... Only had it a week, now horn and heater seemed to have packed up! Found fuse box under steering wheel, but no idea what is what. They all seem ok, but still need to make sure before I look further. The fuse clamps seem very loose as well, but no idea if...

second mad moment was last night when Ifound the bulb does work!!!!! only when headlights also on. Doh! Thanks for advice and will look at getting book ASAP

Just had the "mad moment" and brought 1977 88" swb petrol series 3... Have always had old discos, so this my first real landy. Will I'm sure have loads to ask over next months, but to start: switches on dash.. there is one which looks like it should put back light on for dash board, not working...

Hi folks, just brought a mud flap arch panel for 200tdi disco. Where can I get the bracket that supports it? tried it where Igot panel and none on the net.....:confused:

Where can i find the cheapest tyres online for 200 tdi disco? want set that will do well off road, but used on road day to day basis. Cheers

Hi Folks, loosing fluid through breather hole in cap. Told would be the return valve in steering pump. Now looking for cheap pump. Any ideas where I can get the best for the least? Its a 93 200 TDI DISCO (MY PRIDE AND JOY!!!!!!):D

Sorry if wrong place to ask, but any body breaking a 200tdi disco in herefordshire/worcestershire/shropshire? After some wings, bumpers and maybe back door. I'm also thinking about "fabricating" rear and front bumpers out of box section. any advice? :D
