Hi, I have just bought a pair of horns from eBay which the owner said 'They will fit the Freelander till 2005 models' but alas neither one fits my Freelander MK1. The connector on the horns seems a little too big to squeeze into the connector that I have. Do they do different connectors...

Can anyone tell me if I should have 2 horns or just the one that my Haynes manual indicates near to the battery on the N/S? Thanks

btw I have seen on the ubiquitous eBay that Freelanders have two horns... Is that just for TD4 models as my Haynes manual only indicates one horn position... Thanks, bigroo

I managed to get the radio working once I got hold of the pins to pull it out... shame it was the same day the new replacement R770 radio turned up! Now waiting for a new horn & ratty I need no help there my son! bigroo's my name...

Quite a while... do you think the alarm will go off when I fit a new horn?

I'm no expert & I've only owned this for less than 1 week but my guess is that this is where the horn should go & that is why it doesn't work... Maybe if I had a horn then the radio may work too??? btw it's behind the nearside headlight...
