hello, I changed the timing belt on my 300tdi 90 about a month ago. id previously noticed that the crank pulley that drives the alternator etc was wobbling. when i removed it the key was badly worn so i replaced it. now a month down the line it started wobbling again but even worse this time...

If i come across some better wheels i'll get em but i have these for the moment. i had the standard steel ones before so anything is better than them. will i need spacers to fit these wheels? sizes are 32X1150 R15 Thanks

Ive just bought myself some second hand 8spoke rims with some firestone tyres on. But the rims are rusty. i know nothing about painting/spraying anything so what can i do? ideally i suppose id strip all the paint and start again but what paint/primer etc? how do i strip the paint? i got these 4...

right well after a few hours playing i still can't get it to go. None of the glow plugs are working so that can't be helping. But it started before i replaced the belt:confused:.

Its nearer to the country of Cornwall;). I made a pin to go in the flywheel and even after turning it on the key about 5times it still lined up perfectly:confused:. The glow plugs don't work, well the two i checked didn't, the battery started to die so i gave up last night but will try again later!

right well i got it all timed up and thought id give it a try! but no luck for some reason. i turned the cambelt about 5 full revolutions by hand just to make sure it all stayed exactly right (which it did) could this have filled the cylinders with loads of diesel? would that cause it not to...

hmm im worried by you saying it should be really really tight. it was pretty easy to undo. just put it into gear, put a socket on it and put a bar on the end of the wrench and it came undone. the outer crankshaft pulley is worn where the woodruff key slot is and the key is buggerd. when it was...

hello, well i spent an hour or so making a couple of tools out of some 3mm steel. which is a bit too thin and just bent, also even more stupid was the fact in my excitement i completly forgot that it was a reverse thread and spent all the time trying to unscrew it anti-clockwise:o what an idiot...
