    TD4 fuel tank capacity

As you have said it is probably something to do with the length of the filler to the actual tank.

    Newbie questions on V6l

Not an expert on the V6, but yes the head gasket problem is associated with the 1.8, our friends have just had to have a complete new engine after the head gasket had been repaired before. The only warning on the V6 would be fuel consumption and the ever increasing prices of petrol. 6 months...

    Freelander roof rails and steps

Anyone on the rails, bought the steps. Phoned dealer and they where ridiculous, also tried a local breakers which are very proffessional only allow you to collect parts from a smart reception area after they have stripped the part, they want £75 used. Anyone else on a good source??

    Freelander roof rails and steps

Sorry meant to mention, I don't think the type R is particularly fast unless you are wringing the neck out of it. Went from a 325i Sport to the type R and they are opposite ends of the car world in terms of drive. I have a 130bhp TDCi 6sp Mondeo company car and that has lots of grunt, I do...

    Freelander roof rails and steps

Do you think they will be cheaper than I have found on e-bay?? They work out at half the price so I think they are at rock bottom.
