could be leaking at top and collecting at the bottom get in car and get someone to spray water over it .near seal should fix is it 3 dr or 5 as 5 door is glued on

on my disco if you lock with the key the movement sensor in the the car ( volumatic ) is off so maybe there is a fault with that

i worked on the freelander and used to fit the rear door seal ! they had major problems with seals leaking 3 dr being worse make sure it is fitted corectly pushed home and not kinked etc espeally the corners

sure theres a bloke on ebay who sells the gaitors

tried cleaning conections etc with no change hope it aint got to go on to the diangnostic machine

:mad: i have a 2000 td5 disco which has done 130000 miles when itake my foot of the acc pedal revs stay up for a few seconds before they start to drop which is a problem when changing gear any ideas !!! i know theres no throttle cable so i can only presume a sensor starting to go !!
