Hi does anyone know anywhere I can get sheets of 2mm chequerplate? The cheapest i have found is about £40/sq. M. It doesn't have to be brand new.

Thanks this is probably the easiest way! I have already blanked the EGR and cleaned the intercooler and done all filters etc. so will get a decat pipe off ebay they're only about £20. I cant see there being a problem with the MOT on the last one the emissions were well below the limit

That would be the best idea but probably expensive! I didn't realise it was as complicated as that

So what's the best thing to do then?

All I want to do is be able to pull away a bit quicker it really lags for a couple of seconds

Its a 96 disco. i didnt realise road tax was cheaper for commercials i was just thinking about the MOT when there should be 7 seats and there are only 2.

I would take the money and run. They only pay out the market value whatever it is insured for and £2,700 for a 1995 sounds quite good at the moment. Doesnt seem good but what would you have sold it for? Or what would someone have paid for it?

My mate had a truetrac he said it made driving on the road a bit awkward but his locked when he tapped the brakes somehow!

I think we'll get it checked over there's a good bloke near Northampton who knows all about LPG systems and doesn't know so much about charging!

Do you have a heavy right foot by any chance? I have (or did have) and I have gone from 20mpg to about 28mpg on reasonably short journeys (15 miles) and from 24mpg to 37mpg on a good long run (over 100 miles). Was very surprised what a difference it made.

I had a single point system on a 3.9 auto discovery and for an unknown reason if you engaged the LPG while in gear and driving, it made a loud bang and sucked a flap near the AFM back on itself (i forget what the flap was called). Used to have to manually full the flap back and was ok after...

Trust me we can get round anything! Just trying to find out common things we hadn't thought of.

An M8 bolt and washer replace the Sedimenter drain plug nicely!!

I just had a look at mine its completely covered in mud so I'm going to wire brush it. Is the 11mm bolt on the top or the side ??
