    Coolant pipes

Yeah sorry i meant leave the old one's in. I have a leak at the front, it's not what you call leaking as such, more the pipe is porous at the front if you know what i mean, bit like if you had a graze and wipped it, it would come back.

    Coolant pipes

Could the main Two big pipe's be done away with, and re-routed through Two heater hose pipe, or is it on the engine cause it needs the heat?? Cheers

    Coolant pipes

Hi Guys, There's a set of pipes that run along the side of the engine under the fuel pump on my 1998 Di, they are very badly corroded, anyone know were i can get these? or are they main dealer only. Cheers in advance

    Finding gears!!

Not sure, it was a proper clutch and gearbox specialist, so i would asume they did.

    Finding gears!!

Yep! Thought that was quite reasonable. Thought i would phone main dealer for a laugh this morning, £898.61 for the clutch and if it needed the flywheel too, that would be a further £600!!

    Finding gears!!

Freebie is in the garage now!! £280 for clutch, and flywheel needed skimming £30, so thats £310 in total, should be picking up in next couple of hours.

    Finding gears!!

Beginning to think it's the Clutch slave cylinder! When the engine is running there's resistance when i am trying to get into any gear, then whilst still pressing the gear lever, if i turn the engine off, it slides straight into gear?? Any ideas Cheers

    noise when turning right

Just a up-date guy's!! Got underneath the front this morning ready with this grease, found the squeaking to be the Anti-roll bar had moved over and was rubbing against the bottom of the shock mount, that's what the squealing was, was able to move it back over, so alls well. Thanks for in-put.

Only a touch harder, thats cause you have to line it up alittle, like anything else though, when you have done it a few times it gets easier. :)

    Had it off today!!

Its a Two man job with the bars on, just unclip it all, pull up at the back, then slide it out side ways, it's worth the 5 mins it takes if the weather is nice. :)

    Had it off today!!

VERY NICE DRIVING ROUND WITH THE BACK OFF, AND NOT TOO DIFFICULT TO TAKE OFF WITH THE BARS ON. :) http://hotimg25.fotki.com/a/79_78/106_220/DSC03740.jpg
