Thanks - been looking for both and not spotted much yet, doesn’t help that it looks like a previous owner has butchered the cables behind there... there is about 5m of thick coiled black cable behind there, lots of little boxes that seemingly aren’t connected to anything there isn’t much room in...

i am trying to wire in a mud pod with a couple of gauges in... I have sorted an earth and side light switch for them, but need to find somewhere to take an ignition live from - I.e for power to the volt meter. Is there anything behind the dash I can take it from and run it with the other...

Pretty sure I would have done exactly the same... looks smart :-)

Thanks :-) Not sure where my preference for bar comes from... I guess it’s from designing pipework systems on the submarines, we work in bar for them... the Americans work in PSI which always makes it interesting lol

I am looking to fit a boost gauge and a couple of others, and have found a set I like. The boost gauge comes in two forms - one called diesel one not. So I suspect I know the answer already, but wanted to check. The ‘diesel’ one has a range from 0-3 bar whilst the ‘traditional’ goes from -1...

Wow that’s genuine wiring lol. The relay is mounted on the side of the battery box I had just removed it to see what is connected. I also managed to trace the wires back and the old fog lights were just unplugged so I will leave these and probably run some new 17amp cable through the conduit...

Interestingly I am doing a piece of work in my job at the moment about the hydrogen created by submarine batteries. I reckon my colleagues would have a field day if they saw the state of my battery compartment haha

Hmm well if that’s that hole it’s a bit odd as it seems it was attempted to be sealed up with the wires that were previously going through it

So... been having a play about tonight and after quite a faff I located the correct relay (it was hidden under the subwoofer in the battery compartment...) I have also replaced the in line fuse as that had blown. And now everything seems to work... the little orange led comes on when the button...

Yeh I meant more if it is all adequately connected in to the switch etc. The relay is in the battery compartment so fairly sure it should be easy to trace back t source :-)

That is exactly what I am hoping, I plan to test the relay this weekend - figured if I hook a multimeter up to it and press the switch I should be able to see if it already has a fused supply :-)

Because I currently have an unused switch - it’s the auxiliary lighting one maybe is a better name rather than fog lights. Previous owner removed any additional lights, I would be looking to utilise that switch, wiring in as above so they came on only when the main beam was on. This seems to be...

Just spotted that is based on the heated seat switch rather than front dogs, guess the pins are slightly different - not sure if I read if the operation is too, the fog switch isn’t just a standard on/off I don’t think?
