Once had the same problem with one of those jap scrap Rav 4's. Turned out to be the diff mountings. These were rubber bushes that had just disintergrated letting the diff slap about in the mounting brackets......

No probs, I'm a technician myself and well help with anything i can, although some of the more seasoned Landy owners may be more qualified on the finer points............:) :) :) :)

Many thanks Dann. I intend to keep the service up on the vehicle. At the minute there is 43000 miles on the vehicle, I got it with a full Landrover service history from one of N.Irelands biggest dealers. I think I have a great vehicle but as you know, time will tell.......:)
