Hi goonarmy, when are you going to bures, me and a couple of mates are going on 2nd march. I have a red 90 with norfolk 4x4 response on the spare wheel, you will have to come and say hello!

Id go for plasma everytime. It aint gona take a leg off if it snaps. It floats on water which is sometimes useful too.

It is not great and it is a bit of a pain to wait for the whole truck mist and then de-mist

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit asecond snorkel to a 300tdi 90 to feed the heater:confused: I have had a few experiances of my heater filling with water, turning the truck into a sauna on wheels:D Any help would be appreciated

Well, my tank is just over 54 litres, i used most of it then refilled it to the brim whick took 45 litres or 10 gallons in old money. it covered 400miles before i brimed it with 45 litres therefore..........400/10 =40mpg!!!

They are 235/85 R16. have checked the speedo and it is running true. Have a friend who is a policeman and we used the radar gun to check

I know, it suprises me sometimes. Even on a motorway doing 80-85 i will get 36mpg I have had the calculations for the motorway checked and they are right I'm just pleased mine is as good as it is

I have a 300tdi 90 with muds, a roof rack and a K&N filter. I dont tend to hang around when driving and will regularly out accelerate boy racers, my truck will do 400 miles on a tank.........just under 40mpg!!!

I had a similar proble, turned out to be the universal joint in the steering column. Put a new one on and it was like new, hope this helps

Its true, aliminuim maks a bad ground plane, if still no joy with the earth, go on to 4x4cb.com and you can buy an artificial ground plane, dropped my SWR to 0.3

Very good, lots to challenge and just to ease into it. Stay near the edge of the lake, middle is over bonnet depth.
