had a similar issue and after changing many parts, i took off the manifold and disconnected the fuel sensor at the right (uk passenger side) which was green inside. good quality electrical contact cleaner and a quick rub with wetndry and it now runs superb.

i changed Crank breather, egr mod and then new filters all round. Problem returned so took the plastic manifold off. at the right hand side (passenger side) there is a fuel sensor, it was green inside. cleaned it out and it is now perfect. the turbo vent filter is only connected at one end so...

Worked out my MPG sad I know... £20 from red light to red light including towing a loaded horse box for 25 miles = 35.7 miles per gallon well chuffed. 2005 TD4 137,000 miles on the beast!:D

Fitted a reversing camera in my horsebox and monitor in the hippo to key an eye on her. Used a wireless system from ebay £40 but a crap reception so moved back to wired, excellent quality image. Wired straight into horsebox electrics to get a constant feed
